Job Duties:

Zambri’s is looking for a Sous-Chef to perform the following job duties:

 Help the Chef execute dishes in a timely manner according to specifications
 Assist in menu planning, costing, inventory procedures, ordering, and product development
 Support a culture centred around a genuine passion for cooking, hospitality, and the environment
 Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
 Maintain high levels of sanitation and food safety

Requirements:

 Demonstrable pasty expertise
 Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
 Strong problem-solving, interpersonal and leadership skills
 Ability to work efficiently, multi-task and perform well under pressure
 Build and maintain relationships with team members

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Benefits: Extended health benefits (on a cost-sharing basis)

Location: 820 Yates Street, Victoria, British Columbia V8W 1L8
Start DateAs soon as possible
Salary$18.00 to $21.00 per hour for 30 to 40 hours a week
Education RequirementsCompletion of secondary school
ExperienceAt least three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a similar role, including at least two (2) years of experience in a leadership capacity, at a restaurant, with previous experience preparing Italian cuisine considered an asset
