| Job Location: 2650 John St., Markham, ON L3R 2W6 Duration of employment: 2 years Job Duties include: • Repair, maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical rotating machine like AC and DC motors, generators and special purpose brake motors. • Study and understand all electrical wiring and system blueprint in different types of plants, and locate the faulty electrical apparatus, switchgear, motors etc. • Replace and maintain different rotating and wearing parts which was used in motors, switchgears, i.e. bearing, contactor, terminal, shafts. • Prepare different types of coils according to the equipment motors, brakes and transformers; ensure proper turns and insulations class. • Troubleshoot electrical malfunction in any electrical systems, isolate faulty portion and install new equipment or wiring systems. • Prepare wiring diagram of newly installed electrical systems. • Wind, assemble and install various types of coils. • Performs onsite servicing and repairing if necessary and when required. • Plan to install new equipment, cost –estimating, prepare parts list for any projects or maintenance of plants. • Plan and prepare work orders or instructions using blueprints, sketches and drawings. • Prepare schedules and coordinate activities with varied electrical divisions and sections. | |
