Mature Live-in Caregiver for 86 year old male You would be responsible for: 1. ensuring he takes his medication. They are in blister packs already (morning/lunch/dinner&bed). 2. Assist with (weekly) Shower (handing him towels/soap bottle, etc) he sits on a stool. 3. Change bedding once a week. Cooking, cleaning, laundry, watering plants Taking him to the mall, park or for groceries and monthly doctor appointments- If you don’t drive, you can take a handy-dart bus together (it picks up and drops off at home) Filipina dishes preferably but open to other meals plans He has problems with balance but is very independent He is very sweet, kind, respectful He takes a lot of naps and goes to bed very early every day He is very easy to take care of and a delight to be around He spends a lot of time on his cell talking to his family You would live in a beautiful, spacious, bright suite and bedroom, both with big windows and lots of natural light and views of a park like garden. It’s a very lush and peaceful setting. Your meals are paid for, as well as wifi and a tv in your big bedroom. Bright kitchen, living room and dining room. Looking for someone calm, peaceful, kind, loving, respectful and enjoys caring for the elderly and cooking and cleaning. You will love him, the job and the home. Other | One of the main parts of the job is ensuring he doesn’t fall and hurt himself. He is in a wheelchair in the house but sometimes stands to fix himself a snack or breakfast. He can walk with a walker if supervised. He can do his own Physio therapy exercises but needs to be spotted and supervised He naps a lot, on the cell with family a lot, and goes to bed very early. He’s super easy and a delight. Someone would be very blessed to work and care for him |
