Job duties: • Prepare pita bread. • Operate a fully automatic pita bread line as well as Baxter oven. • Operate a full range of machinery including a mixer, a divider, first and final proofer, oven, including troubleshooting any sudden machine breakdowns during production. • Ensuring any issues with production line are fixed prior to commencing production. • Prepare pita bread dough. • Prepare special orders of pita bread according to customer requirements. • Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards. • Ensure the day’s bread order is received from the office. • Ensure correct amount of bread is prepared according to order. • Ensure pitas are the correct weight and size. • Ensure recipes and temperatures are correct; draw up production schedule to determine type and quantity of goods to be produced. • Hire and train other bakers and baker helper. Job Requirements: Attentiveness to the safety of the working environment. Adhere to British Columbia health and safety regulations. | |
