| Terms: Working hours vary Tasks: Greet and seat customers when entering Prepare dining tables with clean plate ware, flatware, glasses, napkins. Prepare food by plating and arranging it as necessary Take orders and answer guest questions Serve plated dinners to guests and wait tables Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and serve them to guests Ensure guests have everything they need at all times, including napkins and water Ensure cleanliness of tables, floors and other surfaces during and after an event by collecting dirty dishes, sweeping and mopping, and cleaning spills Assist kitchen staff with tasks such as washing dishes and stocking and organizing ingredients | |
