Position Available: 1 Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time Work Location: 473 Gower Point Rd, Gibsons, BC V0N 1V8 Job Duties: - Preparing food items according to recipes and portion sizes, ensuring consistency and quality. - Prepare a daily prep sheet as per stocks indicate, levels on hand and amounts required - Inspect kitchens and food service areas - Monitoring inventory levels of ingredients and notifying management when supplies need to be replenished. - Plating food in an aesthetically pleasing manner to enhance the dining experience for guests. - Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment. - Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork, - Assist employees with company regulations and procedures. - Ensuring that food portions and food presentation meet company standards. - Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen workspace, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and work surfaces. - Ensure hygiene by maintaining high levels of cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the kitchen. Job Requirements: Education: Completion of secondary school is required. Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience is required. Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Standing for extended periods, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail.
