| POSITION: Millwright Journeyman - Maintenance REPORTS TO: Maintenance Supervisor SHIFT: Overnight, 10 hours shifts As a Millwright Journeyman you will play a key role in contributing to the continued success of Silver Hills Bakery whose mission is to inspire individuals to live a healthy lifestyle. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic production work environment and will have the opportunity to learn new skills and work in a team setting. In this role, you are responsible for completing the duties listed below as well as other duties as assigned by your manager or their designate. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: - Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures - Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctions and repair or replace components when needed - Operate hoisting and lifting devices, such as cranes, jacks, to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up, and repair of machinery - Updated workflow in CMMS system - Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery within facility - Attended line calls from operators and assist in setting up equipment or fine tune machine settings - Operate machine tools, such as lathes and grinders, to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery - Other duties as assigned WAGE - Night Shift Rate: $48.00/hour (Journeyman base rate $42.00 + $6.00 night shift premium= $48.00/hour) - Other Premiums Available (First Aid, Trainer, Lead Hand) BENEFITS - Casual dress - Company events - Dental care - Discounted or free food - Employee assistance program - Extended health care - RRSP match - Store discount - Vision care - Wellness program | |
